Excellent Jan 2007Very happy with the the dinnerware Corelle Impressions 16Piece Dinnerware Set Service for 4 Textured Leaves. The only local store sales the product is Kmart but they did not have them in stock. A little pricey but worth the money especially if you have young children in the house. I bought four 16piece sets. One came broken during the shipment. UPS returned it for me. Amazon replaced it right away. However there was a miscommunication with the return shipment for credit with Amazon.The plates are light thin and unbreakable watch out the the mugs. they are not made by same material they are breakable. The pattern is wonderful. It definately does not look cheap as the originall corning dinnerware patterns.The dinner plates were just the right size for our dishwasher! all my other dinner plates were too big. I was also able to reclaim more than half of my cabinet space after the china replacement. We finally gave away all the kid's plastic dinnerware. How great is that!!!Update Nov 2011 Still in love with my dinnerware! After 4.5 years of daily usage they still looks new. All colors and patterns stayed in put I do heavy hand scrubbing. I've had one dinner plate with one spot bubbled up while microwaving. The company claimed it might be due to uneven heating of microwave. Regardless they replaced it right away. I've also had two small and one dinner plates with a minor chip. Corelle replaced them right away. Excellent service and wonderful product.
Exactly what I was looking for This product is exactly what we were looking for as I had one set and needed another. Spent a day looking all over town and could find none so came on the internet and found it right away. Thank you so much for having this product available.
Corelle Dinner is good We purchased this set of Corelle to replace a set that was many years in use. This is very excellent dinnerware. Resistant to chips cleans fine in the dishwasher. We are pleased with the design we picked and the service and fast delivery.
Just what I expected The dishes are very pretty and lightweight. Dinner plates are a little small but actually give me extra room in kitchen cabinet.
Corelle Impressions Bought my original set at Walmart 3 years ago but now needed additional pieces. Naturally Walmart no long has this pattern on its shelf. The new set was a perfect match and I don't have to rely on paper plate back ups anymore.
Broken Dreams Do not even bother ordering this item. Amazon has no idea how to pack dishes for shipping. Two shipments arrived as perfect undamaged boxes full of broken dishes. I did not even bother to open them.Don't was your time.
broken in SHARDS We have had this set of dishes for about 1 year. Now we barely have any left. When I was growing up corelle dishes were the best..they did not break. So for my family I decided to buy the same thing. Unfortuatly like many products these days corelle is not made like they used to be. They certainly break and not only do they break they break into tiny shards. I would not recommend these dishes to anyoneand I had bought two sets. We just bought some from fingerhut and they are great. At least if they break I know it will be into maybe 2 to 3 pieces. Not a million.
Beautiful set I have had Corelle as my everyday dinnerware for the 32 years I have been married. Styles change and I have updated a couple of times. This is the prettiest pattern yet I feel.It's lightweight so you don't have to lift heavy plates out of the dishwasher.Corelle is wonderful it' microwaveable and never fades.I wanted the luncheon plates but they were about $3.50 each which is still inexpensive! but bought the exact same tan base color ones that are plain for about $2 at the outlet store. All the Mills outlets have them. The luncheon size is great for snacks and small meals so it's really a great thing to have in addition to the standard set. We definately use them the most. Walmart has a good selection of Corelle if you don't want to wait for delivery.I have reached the age where I like comfort and convenience more than having the latest thing from the upscale stores like Pottery Barn.
Corelle Ideal for 5th Wheels We purchased 2 sets to be used in our 5th wheel trailer for travel. The weight and thickness of the dishes is ideal for limited storage. The Testured Leaves pattern is also inspirational for our lifestyle now that we are retired and moving on to new adventures. My parents had corelle in their travel trailer 30 years ago and I remember how perfect they were for this environment. My kids have them for active young family. Nearly indestructable. Love them and highly recommend them.
Wonderful set! This is very lovely set! Especially the bowls!! They come with a nice delicate row of leaves design outside the bowls which you normally don't found in other corelle sets. Also the plates are not shallow as compared to other sets. I am still looking for matching platter and large serving bowl!! Unforunately Amazon doesn't carry them!! Also try the bakeserve set available on amazon which matches this one. You can't get same set elsewhere easily.
