Corelle 6003893 Winter Frost 10 Inch No Thanks!
No Thanks! I can't believe how incredibly cheesy this plate looks! I was expecting so much more especially for the price of $6.99.I'd be embarrassed to serve dinner on these plates. You'd be better off buying the faux crystal ones from chain stores like Smart & Final.
Corelle 10inch Winter Frost White dinner plate Love our new Winter Frost White Corelle 10inch dinner plates! We use the Corelle luncheon plates for sandwiches or small dinners and plull the larger dinner plate for meals with entree veggies bread etc. Great item and used for daily dinnerware.
Great for warming up food in an oven I don't like microwaves. Really I don't. So I warm up leftovers in the oven.I normally use this plate and the matching large Corelle bowl. I place the food on the plate and use the bowl to cover it.My food normally warms up in about 10 minutes or so. It comes out piping hot.I remove the bowl and serve the plate.Also I have taken the food off of the heated plate and placed it on one that is room temperature then run HOT water over it to cool it down some what.Even with baked on stains I haven't had a problem getting the dishes clean.
Corelle plates These plates work well for side dishes and lunches. They clean well in the dishwasher and work well in the microwave and oven.We use them daily and have for years.
Yecch! The heft and look and feel and sound of plastic This seemed like such a good idea! The right size rather than a monster plate lightweight but glass not plastic inexpensive. Sorry to say it feels and looks and sounds like melamine. If I used these plates I would always have to be reminding guests that although they felt and looked like plastic they were glass and therefore nontoxic. I'd rather not apologize for my dinnerware and I'm not a snob but no one wants the toxins heat releases in plastic and I would have to make sure guests knew I was careful of their health if I served dinner on these plates. Yecch! We have so many products that look and feel great yet are toxic. Here's one that's chemically inert perfectly safe yet looks and feels like trash.
Corelle is the BEST I used Corelle for years and then decided to 'grow up' and get stoneware. First stoneware is heavy without anything on it! Put it in the microwave and it gets too hot to handle without serious hot pads or gloves! The stoneware is now at the thrift store and I'm back to Corelle! Love the winter white frost as it is so versatile. Love the open stock pieces as well as I never use the cups or mugs that come with a 'set'.
The perfect party plate We host a lot of buffet style dinner parties apartment living what can you do paper plates are not only wasteful they can be messy because you are eating on your lap. These Winter Frost dinner plates are sturdy yet lightweight with a classic clean design. While we don't use them for everyday use they are a great addition that easily blends with all of our other dinnerware and serving pieces. And the best part these dishes show no wear & tear from the dishwasher.
Great looking durable easy to clean They take up less space to store than ordinary china and don't cool hot food as much.
warning they are 10.25 They arrived as promised and look just fine. But they are not 10 they are 10.25 which makes them just that little bit too tall for the dishwasher. Otherwise they are fine.
Love Love Love! Even though it's been several years since I purchased these plates I felt compelled to come write a review about them. These plates as well as the matching saucers and bowls have been to college with me and back! As you can imagine these dishes have been through so much dropped on both hard and carpeted surfaces used to consume sometimes messy/saucy foods that can cause permanent staining scrubbed with abrasive materials etc. Despite this there is not a single chip scratch stain or crack to be found on ANY of the 20 plates and associated saucers and bowls that I own and not a one has broken. I also own another set of Corelle plates similar to these the only difference being that the plates have designs around the borders. Those plates were purchased for use at college as well and in addition to being chip scratch and stainfree the designs around the borders of the plates are also as intact as the day the plates were purchased not a single sign of wear.Other features worth noting include the fact that the plates are extremely lightweight sleek easytoclean washing these is a breeze no matter what you've eaten and have a very thin profile which makes them ideal for people who don't have a lot of space to store their dishes. When it's time to purchase more dinnerware Corelle will almost certainly be my brand of choice particularly if like these plates it's made in America.Sidenote Although this review is about plates and not cups I still wanted to note that the matching cups are stoneware and are made in Thailand unlike these plates.

Gibson Antica 16 Piece Dinnerware Service Love the design, haven't had any problems yet
Love the design haven't had any problems yet I read the reviews about this set chipping and liked the look of them enough that I decided to risk it and I'm glad I did. They're fine in the microwave and dishwasher I haven't seen them chip at all yet and they look just as good in person as they look here.Extremely pleased with the set.
Beautiful but Flawed I actually bought this set about 6 months ago my first dishes that where not hand me downs. I am not sure I will go with stoneware again.Pros Beautiful Large dishes emphasis on the big coffee cups.Cons They chip really easy. The edges are really thin and we already have several chips on our plates just from stacking them in the cupboard after washing.
Beautiful Dinnerware Set I was pleasantly surprised by the beauty and overall quality of these. Very stylish without being over the top. I'm buying another set.
Amazon Thank You Bought two sets after reading Ryans Review. Dishes were packed perfectly no chipping or cracks. My kids love the size of the bowls and playes for teeneagers I need something that can hold large volume. The cups are not so deep which is kinda concerning . Overall very pleased on product it has withstood microwave and cutting with knife on plate leaving no scratches. Very durable.
Awesome deal! After searching Amazon for dinnerware I came to a decision to buy these. All I can say is that these things are very high quality and very nice looking. They are nicer than what the ad shows..I really like the glossy taupe surface and the matte black surface they compliment each other very well.For the asking price these dishes are a steal by looking at them I would say that they easily look to be twice what I paid for them. I am very happy with my purchase.
Classy yet casual I just received my two sets of RED Gibson Antica Roma. Each piece arrived in A1 condition and I LOVE IT !!! It's a perfect match to my RED TFal cookware. The dinner plates are huge have to keep an eye on our 'portion control' smile. Can't wait for our 'snow bird' company to arrive to show it off.
Great Set Be Ready to Return if Damaged in Shipping I ordered two of these sets and I love them. The coloring is great and completely my style and they've held up through multiple runs in my dishwasher which is practically and autoclave so they're fairly tough. I haven't noticed any real scratching or chipping and I've had this set about 3 months.That said when I first ordered them one of the sets contained a few broken pieces. I believe this has less to do with the actual durability of the set and more to do with the packaging they come in. You see the sets I received came in a big box with a variety of smaller boxes arranged inside and thin cardboard sheets to create separation between the plates/mugs. To properly protect ceramics like these in the rough environment of shipping bubble wrap is kind of necessary which they eschewed. Still I just printed the return label off of Amazon put the damaged set back in the box and actually received the replacement set before I could get to the post office to mail out the damaged one. Credit where credit is dueno one makes returns as painless as Amazon does.tldr Good product may be damaged in shipping.
Great stuff The dishes look great and the packaging could not have been better. I wish the plates and bowls were a little smaller but that seems to not be the case with any dinnerware today.
These are the best dishes I've ever had! These dishes are amazing. On top of Amazon packaging them so well that they could have been dropped from the sky they are beautiful and unique I just love them. They are resilient and can be used for formal or casual dining.
Hazardous in the Microwave I've had two of these plates explode in the microwave. They also get extremely hot in a short period of time. they say microwave safe.. but I'm not convincedI love the set besides that.. but I think there is a safety issue here. Maybe I got a bad batch but I've never had a plate explode in the microwave and I've had 2 in 6 months from this set. Burnt myself removing a plate that was in the microwave for less than 2 minutes. Doesn't seem right.The set looks great its heavy and nice sized. Bowls are an awesome size. If they didn't explode.. it would be 5 stars.

Corelle 16 Piece 4 inchDinner Luncheon Stoneware Seconds
Seconds While Corelle has a great reputation for lightweight durable products I was very disappointed in this set. The stencils were smeared indicating these were seconds. Too bad the retailer didn't indicate this on their site. Too late to return since helpful family member unpacked and washed before I could inspect.
